Daggy Jumper Day your own way
Brisbane Youth Service's Daggy Jumper Day, held during Homelessness Week each August, invites people to express warmth, creativity, and community action to support young people facing homelessness.
By wearing a daggy jumper and fundraising, you can help create a future where every young person has a safe place to call home and the chance to thrive.
By taking part, you will:
- build awareness and understanding of youth homelessness
- show support for young people
- help fund critical support that allows young people to move towards stability.
Every activity and conversation makes a real difference.

Your generosity in action
Every dollar raised on Daggy Jumper Day helps Brisbane Youth Service provide safe housing and support to young people (aged 12 to 25) experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Meet Liam*, whose life changed with the right support at the right time, and see how your generosity can help young people feel safe and supported.
“Life now is completely different. I’m on track to finish school by the end of next year, which is something I never thought would be possible.”
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to register my Daggy Jumper Day fundraiser?
We encourage you to register on the site if you'd like to take part in Daggy Jumper Day.
Registering helps us keep everything organised and creates a fundraising page for you, making it easy to collect donations online.
You’ll also receive all Daggy Jumper Day updates to help make your event a success.
Once you’re set up, you can share your page with friends, family, and colleagues to support young people in need.
I want to do a fundraiser, but I can't do it on 5 August. Can I do it on another day?
The official date of Daggy Jumper Day 2026 is 5 August, but we understand this date doesn't work for everyone. You're welcome to host your fundraiser any day in July or August, just let us know.
How do I donate cash collected in person?
You can make a direct bank transfer with the following details:
Account Name: Brisbane Youth Service Inc.
Bank: NAB
BSB: 084-044
Acc Number: 16-345-0559
Please include a reference, for example, your name. We would also appreciate it if you could email us with a notification of your donation, including your name, school name, donation amount, and donation date.
Can a Brisbane Youth Service representative come and speak at my Daggy Jumper Day event?
While we'd love to be part of your event, our teams are busy supporting young people. As many Daggy Jumper Day events happen around the same time, we aren’t able to attend in person.
To help, we’ve put together a Canva presentation template so you can spread the word about Daggy Jumper Day and Brisbane Youth Service.
