On 6 August, I'll be donning a daggy jumper to raise money for young people (aged 12-25) experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Brisbane.
Right now, Brisbane Youth Service is experiencing the highest demand for help in its 47-year history, with skyrocketing living costs and a dire shortage of affordable housing driving more young people to the organisation.
